although i am beset with other project (work-related and otherwise) i shall endeavour to keep you (and myself) entertained with all manner of random nonsense and hard-hitting political news. well, maybe not that last thing.

happy (early) canada day!

so i know i haven't really been here too consistently over the last few weeks but i'm still going to announce that i'll be AWOL for the next few days due to the extra long canada day weekend. unlike some poor saps, i get both thursday AND friday off! this is how it should be every week... i have more weekend days in my immediate future than i've had work days this week! anyhoo, hope everyone has a great weekend be is super long or not. hopefully everything will be back to normal come monday.

apathy on friday, a lackluster monday, and complete lack of internet on tuesday has kind of killed my will to post over the last week... many apologies for being too disenchanted with the idea of writing to cure your boredom. hopefully you've fended for yourselves and managed to go no less insane in the past few days.

on the road again

time for the family thanksgiving trip out east...

my dad has taken to calling this outing the "road trip to avonlea" because we're helping my sister move from moncton to PEI! PEI has a bit of a theme going on... can you guess? if you said potatoes, you're only partly right. the other parts include anne of green gable and being quaint... hopefully there'll be enough family drama to keep things from getting dull. geezes, when was the last time i asked for family drama???

anyway, happy travels to me! i'll be back on wednesday... there might be some sporadic posts in the meantime but i wouldn't hold your breath.

yeah... even though i was relatively un-busy today, i just couldn't get around to writing anything. i just didn't feel like it. you know how you have to be in a certain frame of mind to do something? yeah, it's like that. i wasn't in a mood to do ANYTHING today and what little i did get done is a miracle!
i promise to try and make up for it tomorrow...

how could i forget both the word of the day AND the daily tip for dressing your douche bag??? it's an injustice to the universe! what if yesterday someone was trying to decide how to dress their douche bag and came here for help and there was nothing! and then because there was also no word of the day, they didn't have the proper vocabulary to express how they felt about the situation! the world might have folded up into a black whole right there and then! luckily, only like 2.5 people read this blog so i think we may have dodged the bullet here.

where are all the posts?

yeah, yeah, yeah... there has been a drop in the number of posts over the last 2 days but i do have a few mighty good sounding excuses up my sleeve!

1) yesterday i was having a sick day... playing on the internet makes my throat hurt more! i am not obliged to write you and tell you about my runny nose.

2) today i was busy over at gofinditnow.blogspot.com setting up a brand new scavenger hunt to keep you internet hooligans entertained!

3) you know, i DO actually have a real and legitimate job... work is required of me sometimes. mostly i am super awesome and get everything done quick as a whip but there are times when things pile up.

so yeah, just hush up a little and be patient!
i will be back at it with much brio in no time!

it looks like i may have lost all the blogging i did on tpwts.eblogus.com!
i went to look up something today and the site jsut directs you to eblogus' main sign-up page. and now seeing as i haven't really looked at it since april i can't remember my user name or password! or maybe i can but i've been removed from the system for inactivity?
anyway, i will continue to look into this as long as my attention span will allow and we'll see where it goes from there.

my extra long weekend starts tonight and i won't be back to business until tuesday! it's a week-long weekend, almost. couldn't we have that all the time? 4-day weekends, and 3-day work weeks? i would totally take one for the team and work like that.
anyway, i just wanted to make sure you didn't think i'd died at my computer.

i just checked and like 9 of my last 20 posts have been 'word of the day' posts... how lame is that? boo on me.
but this whole being able to write my blog but not being able to see it is driving me C-R-A-Z-Y! seriously! it's one of the most annoying things to me right now. and the not being able to properly put up pictures? also adding to my agitation. i like pictures! sifting through mound upon mounds of works is boring... and also, when i put up pictures, i don't have to write so much and that is good news for my brain.
so yeah... maybe one of these days i'll force myself to go on the computer after work and clean some of this shit up.
