mmm... tasty!

"Inspection may reopen Chinese restaurant by today"

A Scarborough Chinese restaurant ordered closed last week over a salmonella outbreak could reopen as early as tonight, pending a health inspection.

Toronto Public Health is planning to inspect the Ruby Chinese Restaurant, located in the Finch Avenue and McCowan Road area, again today after it flunked two visits last week prompted by a salmonella outbreak.

ok, so this is the family's FAVOURITE place to go for dim sum and if we weren't travelling, we probably would have been there this weekend! AND we were probably there between september 12 - 20! but we have NEVER had any problems! as soon as they reopen, we will probably be there chowing down again. and guaranteed that when they DO reopen, it'll be the cleanest restaurant in the whole city!

This story was on Dean Blundell this morning, too. A place I know was in the news; it's exciting and disturbing at the same time!
