confound you english language! why must you be so difficult and... full of words!
i am glad that i learned english as a first language and did not have to try and sort it out after knowing another, much more structured language. i mean and ESL-er could use this word in perfect context and (before today) i'd be standing there with my mouth agape in a stupor of not understanding like they'd just said "blah, blah, dee blah blah blah..." perfectly comestible you say? so i should spread it on my feet then?
