weighty issues

"How much does a kilogram weigh?"

apparently it's less than it used to... the international specimen for metric mass is mysteriously decreasing in weight - about 50 micrograms compared to dozen of copies made of the same material and kept under similar conditions. the 118-year-old cylinder is kept just outside of paris under heavy guard.

so maybe the laws of the universe aren't absolute... matter can be destroyed?? very curious...
