the CFIA has issued a warning not to eat Dole Hearts Delight lettuce salad because it may be contaminated with some form of E.coli bacteria.
affected product - 227g packages with UPC 0 71430 01038 9, BIUB date of 07SE19, and lot code A24924B
phew... that title line got my heart going a little seeing as i ate a dole fruit cup for breakfast this morning! luckily, you only have the good luck to possibly be infected with E.coli if you wanted to be healthy and ate lettuce... scratch that good luck bit... those symptoms sound pretty awful! i hope this incident passes without anyone getting sick.
